Much Overdo Post!

I know it's been 5 months since I posted! That's what 4 kids do to your life! No time. I'll just post about September...it's been very eventful. Clara...started HIGH SCHOOL! She's on the freshmen cheer team and loves it. She also just went to her first homecoming dance...growing up so fast. CJ started 6th grade and still is playing travel soccer. Amelia started 4th grade, loves school (and life) and is also doing cheerleading (for the local youth sports association). Charlie started preschool (he goes 5 mornings a week) and celebrated his 2-year adoption day anniversary with our family! Here are some pictures...

CJ, Clara, Amelia Skiing

This is a little clip of CJ, Clara and Amelia skiing at Keystone. It was our first day out, first slopes! They were a little timid at first, but by the 4th day they were zooming down the slopes. It is so fun to be able to ski with all of them. It's definitely our family sport!!

Skiing in Colorado!

We just got back from 5 days in CO skiing! It was perfect spring skiing. We stayed with our friends that used to live in our neighborhood. The kids had a blast hanging out together and skiing together. And, Charlie spent 3 days in ski school and actually learned to snow plow down the beginner slope! Way to go Charlie!

Charlie Turned 4!!

Charlie celebrated his 4th birthday on March 17! He was so excited to have his birthday and he really "got" it this year. We had a nice family party for him and had some playgroup friends over to celebrate as well. He is really into Cars (the movie) and loves Lightning McQueen so he got lots of Cars stuff!

Cast On, Cast Off

Charlie broke his left middle finger in Feb (it just bent back when playing with CJ). The doctor put him in a big hand cast because he said Charlie would be able to riggle out of anything else too easily. Charlie was very good when getting examined, xrayed and having the cast put on. Except, when it was time to leave he cried "OK, you can take it off now!" Try to explain 3 weeks to a 3 (almost 4) year old! Well, 3 weeks later and it came off! Amelia got to come with since she was home sick from school.
